Jay and I thought it might be a good idea to have a derby.

 He thinks he can beat me. 

You could win a couple hundred dollars in the process.

 BIG FISH DERBY, Catch and Release (optional)

When: Friday, December 7th, 2012

WHERE: Martinez Marina

Start: 7am

Finish: 3pm

 You have been invited to join The Right Hook, Hooked up and the BARBARIAN for a competitive event.

This is a small impromptu derby set up for six-Pac charter boats only.

The intent is to spice up your sturgeon fishing interest with a small wager among friends.

COST: $160 will get you a spot on the boat.

From the $160, $20 dollars will go toward the jackpot.

RULES:

• A Picture of biggest fish with measurement in picture wins pot. Pictures will be scrutinized by every captain.

NOTE: The winner will be determined by picture. There will be no second or third measurement. You have one chance to measure and send your picture to all captains. NO Fish will be measured or re measured at the dock.

• Size of fish, by inches, closest to 66 inches, without going over wins jackpot.

• Weight is NOT A Factor.

• A legal fish will have its picture taken with the captain’s cell phone only

• The angler who caught the fish must be in the picture.

• Another picture with the measurement must be taken and measurement, clearly seen, in the photo

• Each Captain must have a log of all passengers on the boat and fish each passenger has caught for the day.

• At 3:45pm Captains only will meet to determine the winner.

• In the event of a tie, winner will be decided by coin toss. Coin toss will be witnessed by participants with fishes in question.

• IF no legal sturgeons are caught for all 3 boats 20 dollars will be refunded to each paying passenger on every boat.
